Texas Country Western Musician Ricky AdamsTexas Country Western Musician Ricky AdamsRicky Adams loves the black 1972 “Telecaster” that he brings to the stage; he received a brand new 2007 Telecaster for Valentines Day, but still prefers the older model.

Ricky followed in the footsteps of his father, Travis “Tex” Adams, an accomplished Hill Country singer, songwriter, entertainer. His adopted Grandfather was a World renowned fiddler and musical entertainer, Caeser Massey. His sister, Vicki Adams is a prominent figure in Bandera, and is also a singer-songwriter. Ricky has been singing in bands since he was in high school. He has written and recorded some of his own music and loves to entertain. He has a very diversified musical background, including having performed at Gilley’s, and on stage with the likes of Larry Gatlin. He has opened for Asleep At The Wheel, Dion Warwick, Kevin Fowler, and Junior Brown.

Audiences are often shocked by his wide vocal range and varied song list. His pleasure comes from making his audiences dance and sing. This talented band can play almost anything and are known for their audience friendly performances, taking requests and reading the crowd which allows them to leave their audiences always wanting more.

Terry Moore

Drums

IMG_5733-bwTerry “The Animal” Moore was literally born with a set of drum sticks in his hands in the birthplace of Country and Southern Rock Music – Southwest Virginia.

Known as “Thunder-Man” in Virginia, Terry performed regularly in Southern Rock Bands by the age of 16, and soon became known as one of the Top Percussionist in Southwest Virginia. Virginia Credits include: Band Finalist in the 1983 True Value Battle of the Bands Competition for the State of Virginia, placing second out of 44 bands.

Band Credits include: High Noon, Uncle Funky, Royal Flush, Cruiser, and Blues Brothers Review, as well as, Studio Session work to completion of two records for the band, Southern Express. Pulling up “roots” in 1992, Terry has since become a full-fledged Texan. San Antonio Band Credits include: Wild Country, Rancho De Luxe, The Wilburn Brothers, Dylan Derek and Dave Larson & Keep the Change which was in the Finals for the KJ-97 Battle of the bands for 1999.

Performance Credits include: the Alamo Dome as the Pre-Game Entertainment for the San Antonio Spurs, Texas State Fair, Rockport Festival, Seaworld Entertainment, Don Strange Ranch, Texan Cultures’ Events, San Antonio Fiesta Celebration, performing every year since 1993, as well as numerous venues that span from the heart of the Riverwalk to The University of Texas at Austin; from the South Padre Coast to as far away as the state of Oklahoma.
